TOMS is one of the pioneering companies that put their #purpose first. The firm is a prime example of using business as a force for good! Over the last few years, we have seen more #purpose-led marketing. TOMS' buy-one, gift-one model is legendary among marketers. Nothing wrong with that. The more companies live their purpose, the bigger the impact we will see. Purpose gives meaning. Purpose ignites & inspires. Purpose wins people. (Yes that includes clients.) The best organizations will tell you that “sales is a team sport”. Everyone gets involved. Winning needs all hands on deck. Those organizations also say that “keeping the customer is everyone’s job”. So let’s put money on this. Every function head in the organization needs to be rewarded for winning new clients and impacted for losing existing clients.
