This piece focuses on writing books that I read early in my writing life that made a life-changing difference. I inhaled the books here as if they were my breath, oxygen, and in many ways they were. All have notes, scribbles, responses, questions, and sticky notes throughout. Here Is my writing advice for today that you shouldn't just read good books, read awful books. Write down what the authors is doing wrong so you can't make the same mistake with your writing.

Someone asked me recently about how I developed the habit of writing, and creating space to keep it going. Here’s my short answer: 1. Writing is a craft. It only improves by doing it as much and as often as you can. 2. Join a club, a community, a class, a peer review group. This is the equivalent of carving out dedicated time in your calendar for this activity. 3. Try journaling. Morning pages, EOD rant, poetry notebook. Whatever floats your boat. 4. Find a publication(s) where you can collaborate by submitting your own work. 5. Figure out if you really want to write, or if you’re romanizing the idea of writing.

To all the book readers and writers! We read dozens of books both fictional and non-fictional. I have tried every kind of genre and these were some of my favorite ones. I thought I should share some of them with you. I believe reading is a great escape from our mundane life. I love reading books from online platforms and of course writing. When we talk about this writing, that writing, we overlook the fact that fictional writing can be good for a profession too. And it would be something you would love and cherish all life. A website might need novel writers, a magazine might need story writers and so on. Some writers I know do a wonderful job at writing fictional books.
