I often share stories of quick recruiting wins. Like the recent Staff Accountant search where we had 5 candidates presented, 3 candidates interviewing & a verbal offer within 1 week. But not every search ends in a quick and easy hire. Some take real persistence & grit. My colleague, Katherine Soroka recently filled a particularly tough role. We were working with a healthcare organization in NYC who needed to hire a Sr Accountant. The role had been open for 6 months before they gave us the search. They needed someone with Managed Care industry knowledge who understood the complexities of: - MMCOR (Managed Medicaid Cost and Reporting)  - Revenue recognition - Medical expenses - as well as account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting Adding to the challenge was the location, hybrid work schedule and a fixed salary range. Katherine didn't find the candidate they hired in the first day or even the first week. She kept searching, keywording & calling When I asked her how she did it she told me "I didn't give up when most people would have... Recruiters often will give up when it gets hard. That's usually is the mid point to knowing that you will find someone (in the right situation). I always say, I'm not quitting until I've ran through everyone in the city." And that’s exactly what it takes to fill tough roles—persistence, dedication, and a refusal to give up until the right person is found. The Frederick Fox delivery team is special. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I wanted to share great experiences I've had with Nancy Wiggins of Robert Half. We recently needed a Full Charge Bookkeeper in a hurry and I called Nancy first. 🥇 Now how do I know Nancy? When my wife Lisa Barnes and I worked with another company, Lisa had worked with Nancy more than once for accounting staff, temps as well as Robert Half professionals. (They're like snipers, but for accounting.) Lisa never had anything but praise for Nancy and for Robert Half for providing just the needed labor when its needed. Then when Lisa was looking for a new position last year, Nancy was instrumental in first placing Lisa as a temp with a company that was an excellent fit for her skills and experiences, then later that became a temp-to-hire arrangement.
