Transformation occurs when all stakeholders are unified in realizing a vision that works for them. Have you see our IDEA framework and wondered "What's that about?" Let us clarify in 2 minutes. The IDEA framework is the answer to the needs that a community has at the start of an ALP partnership and as the partnership evolves over time. ALP INSPIRE services meet partners at the point of inspiration where we challenge assumptions, reveal opportunities, and drive a common vision for growth and change. ALP DESIGN services provide the resources and skills for administrators and teachers to fundamentally transform teaching and learning. ALP EMPOWER services are all about implementation. Our team collaborates with administrators, educators, and support staff to co-design plans and maximize the return-on-investment. ALP AMPLIFY services provide educational leaders with formative metrics, inclusive protocols, and adaptive resources to make change durable. Regardless of the entry points for each of our partners the consistent outcome is this: 🎯 a customized approach based on local needs 🪴 to produce sustainable results 👩🎓👨🎓 for learners, by learners #EDLeadership #ProfessionalDevelopment #LearningDesign

Why Teaching Children to Think Deeply is Essential for Their Future As an educational leader, I am often asked about the skills that matter most for children in today’s rapidly evolving world. While foundational knowledge is critical, I believe that teaching our children to think deeply stands out as one of the most essential skills we can impart. Deep thinking goes beyond surface-level understanding; it encourages students to ask “why,” to make connections, and to approach problems from multiple perspectives. When children learn to think deeply, they develop resilience, creativity, and a genuine curiosity about the world—qualities that empower them to tackle complex challenges and innovate for the future. This skill is especially important in an age where information is abundant but often shallow. By cultivating the ability to reason, analyze, and reflect, we help students sift through the noise, engage with meaningful content, and build their capacity for lifelong learning. As educators, parents, and community members, we have the responsibility to create environments that prioritize and nurture deep thinking. This means encouraging open-ended questions, promoting critical discussions, and allowing time for reflection in every aspect of their learning journey. Let’s prepare our students not just to succeed in their studies but to thrive as thoughtful, engaged citizens in a complex world. #Education #DeepThinking #FutureReady #LeadershipInEducation #LifelongLearning

They adapt to individual needs, champion every learner, and offer encouragement when it’s needed most. From fostering curiosity to building resilience, teachers leave an indelible mark on students’ lives. The impact of a teacher goes beyond academics—it’s about shaping character, building confidence, and unlocking dreams. Let’s celebrate the incredible dedication of teachers everywhere who go above and beyond to prepare our students for a brighter tomorrow. #teaching #leadership #learning #edtech #mentalhealth #emotionalintelligence #education #specialeducation

𝗗𝗼 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆? Earlier today, I engaged in a robust conversation with other school leaders and the dialogue was centred on whether or not schools kill or nurture the creativity in learners. With my robust experience as an instructional school leader, I will.say that it depends on what is being done in the school. The school is meant and supposed to be a centre where the innate creativity of every child is being nurtured to thrive. If a school does not put in place effective personnel, tools and strategies to drive creativity, it will vastly become a place where creativity is silenced and buried. Fortunately, all these can be achieved through #technology when #schoolleaders are intentional in driving #digitaltransformation in every classroom. Here is what Wendy Ologe also had to say about this: I will say most schools actually does even though it shouldn’t.. The impact of schooling on creativity largely depends on the specific educational environment and the approaches taken by individual schools and teachers. While some aspects of traditional schooling may inhibit creativity, there are also many opportunities within the school system to nurture and develop creative skills. Balancing structured learning with creative exploration is key to fostering an educational environment that supports both academic achievement and creative growth. What's your take on this? How do you think schools can nurture the creativity of learners to thrive? #creativity #schoolleadership #thoughtleader #20dayslinkedinchallengewithhaoma
