#RobotFrameWork Robot Framework listeners have been around relatively long time already, but it feels that they don't always get the attention they deserve, especially with newcomers to the test automation field. Matti, Ouro's senior developer, has been looking for a while more verbose way to follow test execution in real time. With listeners, it's trivial. Put the example code below in MyListener.py-file and then simply run Robot Framework like this: robot --listener MyListener.py tests.robot You'll get pretty-printed real time listing of all keywords that are being called. Here is the example in the picture below.

Copper is a user-friendly runtime engine for creating fast and reliable robots. Copper is to robots what a game engine is to games. - Easy: Copper offers a high-level configuration system and a natural Rust-first API. - Fast: Copper uses Rust's zero-cost abstractions and a data-oriented approach to achieve sub-microsecond latency on commodity hardware, avoiding heap allocation during execution. - Reliable: Copper leverages Rust's ownership, type system, and concurrency model to minimize bugs and ensure thread safety. - Product Oriented: Copper aims to avoid late-stage infra integration issues by generating a very predictable runtime. #RoboticsEngineering #RustProgramming #GameEngineDevelopment #ArtificialIntelligence #RoboticsInnovation #SoftwareDevelopmentTools #TechInnovation #RoboticsTechnology #CodingForRobotics https://lnkd.in/gQBvq-84

OOP for Roboticists: Because Robots Deserve to Be Classy Too 😅 Abstraction 🎭 In robotics, abstraction hides low-level details and exposes only essential features, like a "Robot" class with an abstract "navigate()" method. Encapsulation 🛡️ Encapsulation bundles data and methods into a single unit, restricting access, like private "batteryLevel" accessed via "getBatteryLevel()". Inheritance 🌳 Inheritance allows specialized robots to build on generic templates, like a "WarehouseRobot" inheriting from "MobileRobot". Polymorphism 🔀 Polymorphism lets different robots execute the same command differently, like "performTask()" triggering unique actions depending on the robot type.
