For the last 12+ months, this beast has been mine solely to use. The epic tline...... Not any more, now that the Mrs isnt pregnant and has recovered fully shes off. Whenever im not using for work, shes hitting the streets seeing mates. The first time was 2 weeks ago and to quote 'i just love the freedom of cycling, i can just cruise along on the river path enjoying life'. Cycling is not just about how quickly you can pull away from the traffic lights, how tight your lycra is and how you've dodged taxis on the way to work. For many its about freedom, escaping life and having fun. Brompton Bicycle
Time to get a second one, clearly! :) While I'm not (yet) and owner, it's just such a wonderful solution when traveling or moving around and taking care of stuff.
I'd love a T-line One. Just need to bring the funds in to justify it...!
For me it's about flow. The modern world is noisy, bustling, jerky and clunky. Getting into a flow of motion that cuts across, weaves through and around; that synchronises human physical movement and the simplicity of the wheel, creates [in me] a balanced stimulation that pure and simple, feels good. keep on rollin.
Cycling is about freedom & escapism, plus it’s a greater stress reliever. There’s nothing more enjoyable than having a blast on the road with wind in your hair, or being out in nature on a trail.
Still waiting for mine! Apparently it's being welded this week!
At last the world is catching up with me? Stopped owning a car in 1976. started owning Brompton in 1989 (after regular bikes that dismantled in minutes to carry as luggage) Since 1995 the cargo capacity has been regularly used-up to 180Kg with trailer Really must try gears & electric assist soon The early start (2009) when Brian Souter told his SWTrains management to start hiring out Bromptons (100 bikes at Waterloo) has steadily grown (I connected Brompton with automated bike lockers in 2010, & Brompton Hire unit was born) Now the original spec (solar powered & wireless data) has evolved into the current compact package
The Brompton has made me fall in love with cycling again.
Always happy to see Bromtpon's in my LinkedIn feed. 2nd Life!
Love everything about this post ❤️
