Password protecting a document

- If you're going to be sending your document to others via email or even saving to a network drive, or another public location where multiple people will have access to it, you might be concerned with security. Well, there is an option to password protect your document so only those who know the password will be able to open it up and get access to it. So here's how we set up a password; we'll use our Landon Hotel Guide, LH_Guide 1203, if you're skipping to this movie. Click File, and with Info selected here on the left, you'll notice Protect Document. Give that a click because there are a number of different ways to protect your document: you can mark it as final, and when that happens, it's read-only, but there it is, Encrypt with a Password. Click there and you'll be able to assign a password. You just need to be careful that if you forget the password, it can't be recovered, so you'll want to keep track of your password somewhere.
