Demo: Configure a scheduled vMotion in vSphere

- [Rick] In this video, I'll demonstrate how to carry out a scheduled vMotion. So here we are back in the vSphere client at the hosts and clusters view. And over the last few videos, you've seen me demonstrate some migration tasks with this virtual machine. And so I'm going to click on this virtual machine here and go to the configure tab. And under configure, you can see we have the ability to set up scheduled tasks. And I can click on new schedule task. And here you can see that I've got all these different tasks that I can schedule for this VM. So if I need to shut this VM down at a certain time or take a snapshot of the virt machine at a certain time, or any of these sorts of things, this is a great way for me to schedule those tasks to occur during a maintenance window. So maybe I just need to shut down this virtual machine, or reboot it, and I want to have those tasks carried out during a maintenance window, I can do that here.
