- [Instructor] Manual testing is simply a system for approaching a test. It's a suite of skills designed to manually assess a product through its different stages of development. You and your product are unique. And which test cases you choose might differ depending on the goals, objectives, timelines, and other factors. Regardless of what you select, it should be documented in a test plan. At the core of any effective quality program is a process to create a comprehensive test plan. The plan serves as a container to document what will be tested, how it will be tested, when it will be tested, and sometimes even why it is being tested. It's a foundational document intended to guide you through the test period to ensure the product receives a detailed and complete test designed to step you through each stage of the project.
