- [Instructor] Data and visualizations are just part of the business analysis picture. You also need to communicate your findings effectively. Tableau 10 includes stories, which were first introduced in an update to version 8. Stories let you create a sequence of story points consisting of worksheets in your workbook. You can use them to build a persuasive narrative about your insights. I will show you the basics of creating stories. I will use the storyline Tableau workbook, which you can find in the chapter two folder of your exercise files collection. This workbook contains three worksheets, and those are total quantity, by category, and trend. Each of these sheets summarizes data from a collection in different ways. What I'd like to do is create a storyline, or a story, that will allow me to move between these sheets and provide commentary.
