- [Instructor] The Raspberry Pi lends itself to small embedded computing applications, such as machine controllers or kiosks. For just this reason, the Raspberry Pi foundation provides a seven inch touch screen display that is simple to connect and integrate. This screen costs about $60 and comes with all the parts you need to connect it to a Raspberry Pi. Let's take a look at how to connect the screen and then how to use it. When you open the box, you'll find jumper wires, a small bag of screws, a ribbon cable, and the screen. You'll need a Raspberry Pi, all current models will work with the exception of the Raspberry Pi zero. The zero doesn't have the necessary display connector. The screw holes are designed to fit models 2 or later. There is a second set of mounting holes you can attach to a frame or a case.
