- [Announcer] There is a lot of additional hardware available for the Raspberry Pi, and covering all of it would be a course all by itself. I'm going to demonstrate the offerings from the Raspberry Pi Foundation, but there are many other companies providing additional products. In this session, let's explore the three cameras provided for the Raspberry Pi from the Raspberry Pi Foundation. These are the basic camera, the no IR camera and the high quality camera. You can also use a standard USB webcam; just plug it into the USB port on the Raspberry Pi and it will be recognized. The Raspberry Pi cameras plug into the camera port. This is a bit more involved and delicate than connecting a USB cable. When you do this, the first step is to turn off the power to the Raspberry Pi. This is always a good idea when attaching components to any electrical device. Locate the camera interface. On most Raspberry Pis, this will be the connector closest to the USB connectors.
