- [Instructor] This brings us to Competitive Analysis. It's the Pm's responsibility to build a competitive product. Every product has competition. Whether it's the same product in class, or a different way to solve the same problem. In every product, both your products, as well as their products have strengths and weaknesses. It's really important to understand, those strengths and weaknesses as they pertain to customer pain, and as they pertain to solving your customer problem. And again, quality is always seen through customers' eyes. So, competing is not always about technology. It can be about business processes, and as a Program Manager it's important to dig into this other side of the non-technology world. A great example is delivery. A large OEM had a cloud infrastructure customer, that customer wanted racks of servers deployed within hours of request.
