- I'm betting you've heard of the words Scrum and Kanban if you've ever worked in a tech company or read frequently about them. Here, I'm going to de-mystify those terms for you so you can complete your buzzword mastery. Note that in another video in this series, I talked in detail about Lean, Agile, and Waterfall development. It'll help you a lot if you watch that video first. Once you understand what Lean and Agile are, the next question you're probably pondering is, okay, but what do I actually do on a day-to-day basis to be Lean and/or Agile? Well that question brings us to the final bosses of this buzzword hierarchy, Scrum and Kanban. Scrum and Kanban are both Agile frameworks, which is just a pretentious way of saying they're two different ways of implementing Agile development.
