- [Instructor] I've already mentioned a bunch of different terms and terminology like mono, stereo, binaural immersive, spacial. And let's take a moment now to really understand how these terms are all related. So I have a project here. It's a Logic project. And by the way, you're going to need Logic 10.7 or later for this course, because that is the version that includes the Atmos panner and render. But essentially, immersive is a mix format. And Dolby Atmos is one of those formats for mixing that is immersive. Spatial audio is essentially the end result of an immersive mix for the listener. So a spatial mix could be a mix that is supported, for example, as an end result of something on Apple Music or TIDAL or other platforms. So that's where spatial sort of comes in.
