Opening an image in Camera Raw

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you one other way to open an image and that's in Photoshop's Development module which is known as Camera Raw. And so if you've ever worked with Lightroom, then Camera Raw is the Development module of Lightroom built-in to Photoshop and Bridge by the way. You can access it from either. And so this is just going to be the briefest of introductions, so that you know that Camera Raw is there. We will be discussing Camera Raw in more detail throughout this and future courses. All right, so I'm going to start off here in Photoshop by going up to the File menu and choosing Browse in Bridge which is trained ____________ on the contents of the 01_open folder inside the Exercise Files folder. And notice this file right here Puffins.dng. DNG stands for Digital Negative. And it represents the raw image data from a digital camera. And so different models of different cameras support different raw…
