Cropping away all transparent pixels

- In this movie, I'll show you how to exactly crop an image down to the largest possible rectangle, in order to get rid of all the transparent pixels. Now you might figure there'd be an automated function for this in Photoshop. There kind of is, it just doesn't work. If you go up to the Image menu, you'll see this command called Trim. And notice one of the options is to trim away the transparent pixels or trim away the representative top left pixel, which is transparent, or even the bottom right pixel, which is also transparent. And of course, we want to trim away from all sides. However, regardless of which option I select, if I click OK, I'm not going to do anything. Now if there's anybody on the Photoshop team watching this, I do think that command should be updated in order to take care of this specific problem. But in the meantime, let me show you how to make things work using the non-destructive Canvas Size command.…
