- This practice is to help you become more aware of what you find meaningful so you can be more inspired every day. Find a quiet space and shut off any distractions. Sit comfortably, relaxing your shoulders, your feet on the floor. Close your eyes or soften your gaze. Inhale through your nose, exhale through your mouth. (Henna inhaling) Start to become aware of the sensation of your breath as it goes in. Now, deepen your breath. Breathing in, (Henna inhaling) 2, 3, 4, out, 2, 3, 4. In, (Henna inhaling) 2, 3, 4, out, 2, 3, 4. In, (Henna inhaling) 2, 3, 4, out, 2, 3, 4. (Henna inhaling) As you feel yourself relaxing, bring to mind a time when you felt joy at work, not because of a major accomplishment. It was a simple joy of being engaged in an activity that absorbed you fully. Some people find joy in being creative. Others find joy in bringing people together.
