A nice benefit to your team is you can update their pay rates when needed. If you're following along with me, feel free to give yourself a pay raise. Entering a rate is simple, just type in the amount. I'll just use 50, I'm set up with US dollars, and simply type each one and press "Enter." Very easy. You will notice there is an Overtime Rate column. It's not as smart as you might expect. If your overtime rate is time and a half, let's say, you'll have to do that calculation yourself. I should also point out that even though you see overtime rate, Microsoft Project will never use it unless you designate hours as overtime. So it doesn't really know if someone works 10 hours a day, should two of those hours be overtime? Now, besides doing a standard rate right here, I could also double click on a resource and change their rate there. Why would you want to do that? There are some great advantages.
