Adjust working time in a resource calendar
Ability to tailor hours and days of availability is nice when you want to fine-tune your resources. I should point out there is a difference between max unit adjustment and the calendar. If you do something like 50%, a person is part time, but they could work in the morning or they could work in the afternoon. If instead you change the calendar, you're restricting their hours. So when a task falls in the afternoon and they're only available, let's say, 8.00 AM to noon, they may not be able to work on that task. How you adjust someone's calendar is you could double click on their name and this time I'll go to General, Change Working Time. The first thing to notice is they are based on the standard calendar. Remember earlier we covered corporate holidays or public holidays. If the whole entire company gets off January 1st for New Years all the resources get that same holiday as well.
