Use a template to create a project

- [Instructor] Creating a new project is easy when you have a template to start with. With a project file open, click File, then Options, and then click the Save category. To specify where your templates are stored, in the Save templates section, click Browse. Navigate to the folder where you store your templates and click OK. Click OK to close the Project Options dialog box. To create a new project from a template, click File, and then click New. Beneath the search box, click Personal which you'll see as long as you aren't connected to Project Online. Project displays the templates in the folder you specified. Click the template icon. In the start date box, fill in the date the project will start. Then click the Create button. In this case, Project creates a new project file with that start date along with tasks, task links, resource assignments, resource rates, but without a baseline or actual values.
