Protect a file with a password

- [Instructor] Don't want the wrong people opening or editing your Project file? You can protect it with a password. Click File and then click Save As. Navigate to the folder where you want to save the file and fill in the File name box. To add a password, click the Tools button's down arrow and choose General Options. To require a password to view the file, in the Protection password box, fill in the password. To require a password to edit the file, in the Write-reservation password box, fill in the password for editing. Project displays asterisks when you fill in passwords. You can add one or both of these passwords. If you add both, use different passwords for each. Then click OK. Retype the password you added to confirm it and click OK. Click Save. Now the file has a password. When you open the file, the Password dialog box appears. Fill in the password and click OK.
