- [Instructor] As an admin, you typically have to add resources to the Enterprise resource pool for project managers to use. I'm going to go to the Resource Center, and on the Resource Center, you can see the resources the have been predefined into this particular instance. I want to add a new resource, so I'm going to go to the tab at the top and select New. Resources come in three different types. Work, Materials, or Cost resources. Work, meaning they're used on the project but not consumed. Material resources are consumable-type resources that will be used up as the project goes on. And lastly, cost-typed resources, where you just want to manage the money. I'm going to add a new resource of the Work type, but also as a generic. And I'll put in a lawyer as the display name. Again, this is going to be a generic resource, so I select the Generic checkbox. I can scroll down and add additional information for that resource, either on Rates, Overtime, Current Max Units, or Cost per Use…
