Creating a basic workflow, part 1
- [Instructor] Building out workflows and PVP pages in enterprise project types really requires a set of all the various pieces. I'm building out my last section in SharePoint Designer, so I'm going to bring up SharePoint Designer and I've added a new workflow by clicking in the Workflow area and selecting New Site Workflow. I've named my workflow Proposal Submission, and I've selected the SharePoint workflow for project server out of the options. One of the key pieces about SharePoint Designer is you can connect it to a Project Online environment. So again I've built out this proposal workflow and so I'm going to edit that particular workflow. Since my title's a little out of sorts, I'll modify that title just so it's cleaner, and I can now press on the button that says Edit Workflow. Now once you have that workflow show up, you can now start to insert items. In our case here, this says Set the Proposal Status Field, that's the one that we've built in Microsoft Project Online, in…
