- [Narrator] Okay, It's time to break away from accounting and talk about shopping, specifically the Commerce capabilities in Dynamics 365. In Dynamics 365, we have channel types. The first one is the retail channel type, and this is associated with a brick and mortar establishment. Within retail, we have two types of point of sale systems. We have a cloud point of sale system. This is used on mobile devices. With this type of system, there is no offline functionality. It needs a hardware station or a CPOS server to function. Think about when you go into a store and they hand you the device to pay for your purchase. The other type of point of sale system in retail is the MPOS, the modern point of sale.
