Using Resource Graph

- [Instructor] In this lesson we're going to look at Azure Resource Graph. Azure Resource Graph is a relatively new tool that we can use in Azure for analyzing what we actually have deployed within our subscriptions. So where Log Analytics workspaces allow us to query based on logs and information we've set those resources up to emit, Resource Graph actually queries against what is physically deployed within the subscription. So this means we don't need to configure anything to actually emit any logs like we have to do when capturing Log Analytics. It's just always there. So the first thing we'll look at is the Resource Graph Explorer. And we can do a search for it at the top and choose the Resource Graph Explorer. Now the Resource Graph Explorer uses the same Kusto query language that we use in Log Analytics, so it should be very easy to quickly get started writing queries.
