What you should know
- [Instructor] Marvelous Designer uses geometry, which is called avatar, to create collision between pieces of fabric. So you're going to need those pieces of geometry created on third party softwares so you can bring them over to Marvelous Designer. We are going to provide the collision objects we use in this project in your exercise files. But if you want to create pieces of your own, you need to model those elsewhere. You also need to understand the basics of 3D geometry, because we're not going to be covering the basics here. And you don't need any previous Marvelous Designer knowledge. We're going to treat it as you don't know anything. We're going to introduce you to the interface, navigation, and all the concepts that you need to follow along.
