Customize your public profile
- [Lecturer] Your public profile in LinkedIn is what other people can see when they're viewing your profile without being logged into LinkedIn. This happens often when someone searches your name on Google and comes across your profile but isn't on the LinkedIn platform. You have the ability to control what's visible on your public profile. To do this, navigate to your profile. And then, on the right-hand side, at the top, click on Edit public profile and URL. What you see on the left-hand side is a preview of what people can see on your public profile. You can edit this on the right-hand side, under Edit Visibility. You can turn off visibility altogether, or you can customize which sections are shown or not. Once you customize these, it will be reflected over on the left-hand side. Here, if I turn off education, that will turn off. Once you make changes, they will automatically be saved and applied.
