Importing and exporting in iOS
- [Instructor] Getting data into and out of mobile devices is generally easy, but not always obvious. I'll make the process for Final Draft Writer for iOS obvious, and then you'll see how easy it is. There are two basic ways to get an existing script into Final Draft Writer. The first is email. Final Draft files generally aren't very big, so email is fine. Tap on the attached Final Draft file and choose Final Draft from the Open In options. That's it. But if you're going to be doing some serious script swapping between your iOS device and your computer, a much better way to go is iCloud. After all, all iOS devices are, by definition, Apple products. And iCloud, also a product of the fruit company, comes free with every iOS device. Like almost every other iOS app, Final Draft Writer is now fully integrated with iCloud. Just access the script you want through the Files app on your iPhone or iPad, tap it, and it…
