- [Instructor] To start designing the HMI, go to the component palette on your right hand side here and here you would see a list of different components that you can add to your design space. You can also click on the symbol factory and here you have access to different icons provided by ignition designer. So I'm going to close the window and now using the component palette, I'm going to look for an icon that I'm going to use to show the tank level. So here under display I have two options. I have a cylindrical tank and a level indicator. So I'm going to choose the cylindrical tank. So click on it and then drag it into the design space. So now once you have the component in the window if you click on it and go to the left hand side, here where you have an option of editing the property of this component.
