Updating task progress as a guest user
- [Instructor] Our active volunteer on our dog park project is ready to provide an update on tasks they've been assigned. Thankfully, we gave them guest access so they can do the update themselves and not send another email, which we all love. (instructor chuckles) Now, currently, I'm logged in as the guest user, and as a reminder they're part of the Microsoft 365 group for this project. They also have a project license. So one of the scenarios that this person might need to do is look at a task and provide a change to the duration. Maybe the plan for that task has been modified. So an option they have is to go into the details and change information right here. So instead of four days perhaps, maybe that should be five days. Now, I always recommend, especially if they're a guest user that you encourage them to fill in a note about why they made that change. Instead, they could actually add columns and make updates…
