Importing a Microsoft Project desktop file
- [Instructor] There once was a time where you had to make PDFs or do screenshots to share your project with other people. That's no longer true; now you can put that project into Project for the Web and share with a web browser. Now, to use this feature you need to log back in to your Microsoft 365 account, and as a reminder, I did type in portal.office.com. I did not search for it on the internet, which could be dangerous. From our app launcher, we can click on project. And what I've already done is I've created a project desktop file, Microsoft Project Plan or mpp file, and I've saved that, and we're going to import that into Project for the Web. And let's see how easy that is. I can click New project and there is my import. Now you will get some warnings that not every feature carries forward.
