- [Instructor] Well, if we had unlimited people or maybe unlimited funds, we may be able to do a lot of tasks at the same time. But in reality, most projects have a sequence that tasks must occur in. How do we do that in this environment? Well, you set up dependencies. Some people call those relationships. Now for convenience, let me hide some columns I don't need. But let's add a column we do need, and I'll add depends on. Now, for anyone who has studied project management, you might be looking for predecessor. Really depends on is considered a more modern concept. Essentially what we're going to be doing is determining what task drives another one, or for this task, what does it depend on before it can start?
