Auditing your project
- [Instructor] Now before you track progress, you may want to do an audit of your project and make sure you're truly ready to track those actuals. So here are some things I would recommend. First off, I made sure there were critical milestones in my project. And what I'm using those for are key checkpoints and maybe a wrap-up task to make sure I've completed a phase of my project. You may also want to double-check that you have your resources assigned and do a double-check on your estimates. Are these logical estimates or is some of this not correct? And you might need to fix it. Now I should point out that as you get through your schedule, you don't have to have every single task fully planned because that's not how projects evolve. We have some information we know in detail, some we don't. But what I do recommend is navigate over to timeline view, make sure the items you plan to track progress on are properly connected…
