Challenge: Practice working with files - Linux Tutorial
From the course: Learning Linux Command Line
Challenge: Practice working with files
(gentle upbeat music) - [Instructor] Let's take some more time to practice what we've learned so far. For this challenge, I'd like you to spend some time creating files, which you can do with the touch command, or you can make copies of existing files. Practice using links and creating directories to copy or move your copies of the exercise files. Don't move the originals though, because we'll need them where they are for the rest of the course. Take about 10 minutes to do this, so you can build your confidence, both working with files and avoiding files you don't want to change.
