- [Instructor] Creating assignment groups in Canvas can help to keep your assignments organized. And also allows you to weight groups differently for grading purposes. Right now, I'm inside of my Biology 101 course. And from the course navigation bar, I'm going to go to assignments, I'll click here. Now we'll take a look at how to create assignments in a little while. But first, I want to set up these assignment groups. By default, I have one group in here and it's a generic one that's called assignments. So I'm going to add a group. And I can do that by going to the top and clicking on + Group. From here, I can name it. I'm going to name my second one assessments. And I'll click Save. And now I've added that second group. I'm going to add a third here, which is going to be discussions. And then I'll add a last one here, which is going to be projects. And now I have these four different groups. Now to the right of…
