Introducing inclusive design
- We've all had situations where a change in design could improve the usability of a product or service. At 22, my arms became paralyzed, and I started to understand that people face many challenges caused by poor design. My name is Christina Mallon, and I'm the Director of Inclusive Design at Microsoft. When creating products or services, it's important to co-design with users with different lived experiences than your own. This approach is a process called inclusive design. In this course, I'll share foundational language and terms used in inclusive design and offer strategies around co-designing with diverse communities. Are you ready to start designing products and services that can be used by as many people as possible? Let me show you how.
