Great leaders lead change
- Over 2000 years ago, the Greek philosopher Heraclitus declared that, "Change is the only constant in life." And yet for centuries, humans have had an amazingly difficult time accepting that change is inevitable. But what's not inevitable is poorly managed change. When you can understand change and prepare for change, you'll run better organizations and happier teams and you'll save yourself a ton of stress. My name is Eric Zackrison. I'm a professor, consultant, and I've managed and owned businesses for nearly 30 years so I know a thing or two about managing and implementing change. In this course, I'm going to teach you how to successfully navigate change within your organization. I'll walk you through the various factors that necessitate change and offer tailored methods for integrating different types of change. I'll explain the many roles that can affect implementation and give you strategies for keeping stakeholders in the loop early and often. I'll give you a framework for the steps for effective and lasting change and offer helpful tips for how to deal with other people's reactions to change. When you can anticipate and plan ahead, that is when change is the most effective. Great leaders lead change, so if you're ready to dive in, let's get started.
