Introducing the Save for Web command

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll introduce you to the Save for Web command, which allows you to save a copy of your document as a pixel-based screen image, whether it's bound for the web, a device, or presentation. Currently, we're looking at a document that contains three artboards. But Save for Web can only accommodate one artboard at a time, and it has to be the one that you're looking at. So let's say I want to export the second artboard. In that case, I would press Shift + Page Down in order to advance to it. Now I'll go up to the File menu, choose Export, and then choose Save for Web Legacy. That word Legacy indicates that Adobe considers the command to be obsolete. But in truth, it still has a few tricks up its sleeve, which is possibly why Illustrator has left in the keyboard shortcut of Control + Shift + Alt + S here on the PC or Command + Shift + Option + S on the Mac.
