- In Throughout this course, you'll hear me mention learning paths. Learning paths are another great way to find content around a specific topic that you're interested in, whereas a LinkedIn learning course will give you focused instruction on a specific topic, learning paths provide several courses or additional content on a larger topic. Right now, I'm currently inside of my LinkedIn learning account and I'm inside of the page for a learning path, and that is Become a Leader People Love. Now, on the page for the learning path, there is a bunch of information. First, you can see the title as well as the description. To the right it will show you how much content's in it. In terms of items here there are four items, which are likely courses or videos, and then the amount of content. So this learning path takes two hours and 29 minutes to complete. Now if I scroll down, I can see the content. It usually appears here sequentially. So I would first watch Leading With a Heavy Heart. Next, Daniel Pink on Motivation and so on. Now, when you finish a learning path, you will receive a certificate and you'll be able to share that accomplishment on your LinkedIn profile, showing your network that you've dedicated a significant amount of time to learning and gaining new skills in a specific topic area. Below this, you can see the different authors of the course and you can click on here to learn more about them and see them on LinkedIn. I'm going to back up, so let's take a look at how we would find a learning path on LinkedIn Learning. In order to do this, I'm going to go over to the browse topics tab over here, and then I want to scroll down to the business topics. So I'm in the business content library and I'm going to business topics. Now I'm going to select one here. Let's say Business analysis and strategy. When I do this, there are 1,157 results in here, but we learned earlier that we can use these filters to narrow that down. So I'm going to click up here on type and narrow it down to learning paths. You'll see here we have courses, videos, audio, but I want Learning Paths. I'll click on that and then click show results. Now I can see that within the business analysis and strategy section, there are 69 learning paths. The first one here is getting started as a business analyst becoming a Six Sigma green belt and so on. So you can see the different ones here I'll click on one, explore a career in data analysis, and when I do, it's very similar to the page for the last one I looked at. It gives us that title, a description, the amount of content, and this one is 14 hours long, so this is a much longer one. And then below, again is that content as well as the authors. So take advantage of these learning paths. They provide a great way to learn a lot of stuff about a specific topic area.
