Hello everybody. My name is Chris Bailey and I am the author of the new book How to Calm Your Mind: Finding Presence and Productivity in Anxious Times. I'm also the author of Hyperfocus: How to Manage Your Attention in a World of Distraction and the Productivity Project: Accomplishing More by Managing Your Time, Attention and Energy. Most days I can be found consulting with companies on how they can become more productive and speaking to organizations on how they can become more productive without hating the process. Now, as I found firsthand a few years ago, these days we need calm more than ever before. A few years ago, I went through a period of deep burnout and anxiety myself. And after digging deep through the research, I've quickly started to think of calm as a superpower that helps us become more focused and productive.
