- As you begin the work to position yourself as an industry thought leader, it's incredibly important to stay on brand. This isn't a game of throw all the things against the wall and just see what sticks. In fact, that's likely going to result in you investing a lot of energy and effort, and then seeing minimal returns. And that's not, at all, what we're here to do. In module two, I talked about the importance of defining your brand, and I laid out steps to help you get clear on who you are and what you want to be known for. Now, assuming you're armed with this information, it should be pretty doable to stay on brand with the messaging you put out there.
