- [Instructor] Think back to a lecture or talk you have been to. The ones that stick out in your head are probably those speakers who are engaged and enthusiastic about their topic, right? Their tone of delivery made all the difference. So before you start jumping in to create all your fabulous content, let's take a step back and figure out the overall instructional tone you want to achieve during the learning experience you are creating. Here are some considerations to guide you in doing so. First and absolutely foremost, get to know your learning audience. What is their overall demographic? Are they younger, early career people or well-seasoned employees? Do they live in cities or have a more quiet country life? Where will they be taking this training, at the office while driving to work, on the train? Second, what is the main goal of the training? It is important to continually check in with your goal. Even though you may know it by heart, make sure you are aligning the tone to it.…
