- People want to work where they feel comfortable. They want to fit in. They want to be apart of something bigger than themselves. Your job description needs to paint a picture of a place where they'll feel like they belong. To get the kind of candidates you're looking for you need to use words and phrasing that speak to people in their own language. In this video I'll introduce attention grabbing language and formatting that will help your next description to stand out. The language of your job description, the actual words you use, are essential to moving your candidate to actually apply. Phrases like, "your duties are", or, "three years' managerial experience required", are a thing of the past. When a job seeker sees this kind of language they lose interest and stop reading.
