- In this section of the course, we're going to discuss operational technologies, such as embedded systems, ICS devices, SCADA networks, and the different industries and sectors that rely on these operational technologies to complete their daily activities. Now, when I refer to OT, or operational technology, I'm talking about communication networks that are designed to implement an industrial control system rather than data networking. So when you think of OT, think of computer networks that are built to support manufacturing, industrial use cases, and other types of devices that interact with the real world instead of our standard business networks that many of us are used to supporting. In this section, we're going to be focusing on domain 3, security engineering and cryptography, specifically Objective 3.3.
