- Think for a minute, how would you want to learn? What experience do you want to build for your learners? We've all experienced variations in instruction, some we've liked, some we'd prefer never to experience again. I sometimes ask groups of instructional designers, if you could learn the content in the last course you developed through any means you choose, what would you choose to learn from? If you would choose to learn from what you just built please raise your hand. There have been many times no one has raised their hand. So let's look at our choices of instructional approaches at a macro level. What are the different ways we can go about delivering instruction?
