Lightweight and flexible tools for building applications
- [Ayodele] Technology's advancing daily and software engineers are constantly provided with new tools to ease their software development process so they can focus on building solutions for the next billion users. One of the critical aspects that a front-end engineer needs to be able to accomplish easily is building with a lightweight, usable design. That is where Svelte excels. So what makes Svelte such a powerful framework? It is a free and open source front-end, component-based framework. It is fast and it outperforms other framework, just to mention a few of its benefits. This course will help you learn Firebase for application development. Firebase is a backend-as-a-service platform and we will be building a crude application using Svelte, with Firebase powering the backend. Also, I will focus on explaining the most useful part of Svelte and Firebase that you can use for your next project and we will be using a GitHub repository that you can use to follow along, or you can work along with me using your own code. I am Ayodele, a front-end engineer, currently building Worker, a startup that helps its users enjoy easy life by handling their domestic chores. I've been working with many different front-end libraries over the years and I have found Svelte to be time saving, lightweight, and powerful. I'm excited to share with you all that I have learned, so join me in my Linkedin Learning course and I will bring you into the world of Firebase and Svelte.
