Working with the AutoCAD Electrical Toolset

- [Shaun] AutoCAD is the world's most well known computer aided design or CAD application. It also comes with seven specialized toolsets. One of these is the AutoCAD Electrical Toolset, often known as AutoCAD Electrical. It provides a highly usable interface for electrical and instrumentation designers to develop their designs and ideas using 2D schematic and panel drawings in a project based environment. Not only does the AutoCAD Electrical Toolset allow you to visualize your electrical designs, but it also allows you to communicate them by plotting your schematic and panel drawings, in both hard copy and electronic formats, such as PDF. At first glance, the AutoCAD Electrical Toolset looks like a complex undertaking, which can be daunting for the first time user. Using your existing AutoCAD skills gained from other AutoCAD courses in the library, this course will get you using the processes needed to use AutoCAD electrical effectively. As you work through the course, you'll get used to the methodologies in the AutoCAD Electrical Toolset, and build up your muscle memory so that these skills become second nature. You will also learn some neat tips and tricks from me on how to use AutoCAD Electrical smarter, not harder. So join me, Shaun Bryant, and let's get into the essentials of the AutoCAD Electrical Toolset.
