- [Instructor] Once again, we're staying in our 02_VariousStandards.dwg file. What we've discussed in this chapter is the various internal standards that you've already got built into AutoCAD. Things like our layer properties, textiles, dimension styles and obviously our multileader styles as well. Now, all of these can be used to standardize your CAD drawings in AutoCAD. So you'll notice on the screen there, we've gone through we've gone through things like the dimensions and you can see there's our little tag there on multileader that is telling us that that is Door Type A. All of that is making your drawing, as I've said previously, and I can't stress it enough, boringly consistent. The whole idea is you're maintaining that standard. You're making everything the same so that everybody basically knows what to do. You're controlling all of the standard information that goes into your AutoCAD drawing. And that's the whole idea of CAD standards, is everybody's doing the same thing so…
