- [Instructor] Scrum is the most popular methodology for delivering software in an Agile framework. When most people think of Agile, they're really thinking of two-week sprints and this comes from the Scrum framework. Sprints are the key difference between Scrum and Kanban, and a typical sprint in our Scrum is two weeks long. Sprints really do a good job of breaking the larger project into smaller two-week increments, remember our pizza example delivering slices. This schedule helps to set up a regular cadence for the entire delivery team. Everyone knows what they'll be working on for the next two weeks and that they have two weeks to get it done. This set timeline also serves as a good way to gauge progress and team efficiency. If there is any inefficiencies in the team, such as poor communication, lack of knowledge by some team members, etc., you only lose two weeks before you can make adjustments. With Waterfall, you…
